On the Entanglement of Science and Europe at CERN: The Temporal Dynamics of a Coproductive Relationship

The European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) is one of the oldest, largest, and most emblematic research infrastructures. Its history, as expressed through narratives its own organizational identity, does not only reflect development technoscientific activities but also strongly references a multiplicity performances Europe. By analysing these identity over nearly seven decades, it possible to observe an ongoing coproductive relationship between sociopolitical orders—more specifically particle physics Furthermore, there has been considerable shift in justificatory explanatory orders. In first three CERN was envisioned organization which unity could be accomplished science.
